Straight root lever 5S reduces the traumatic effect of the extraction procedure. Luxing instrument has an ergonomic and light handle. The working part is made of hardened French surgical steel in the form of a flat blade. We start the treatment with a firm grip on the labial and lingual side of the alveolar process. During luxation, this allows you to protect the tissues adjacent to the operated side.
We introduce the luxating tool into the periodontium precisely, while remaining in close contact with the root, thus minimizing bone fracture. Contact of the luxating instrument with the root surface should be maintained throughout the treatment. We place the luxating lever axially on the tooth root and apply quite strong pressure with small axial rotation. The thin and sharp tip cuts through the ligaments and at the same time the alveolar bone is compressed so that the tooth is carefully released from the socket.
