Apical root lever left used during tooth extraction procedure. It consists of a handle and a working part. The tip of the Apical Root Lever is used to loosen the tooth from the socket, separate the periodontal ligament from the tooth, and widen the socket for more convenient extraction of the tooth or root. Tools of this type differ in the curvature and size of the tips, while all handles have a recess for the finger, which allows the tool to be firmly held in the hand.
